Guyline weight adds up across a shelter. A 50 ft length of each ThruLine 1 mm colorway weighed just 7.70 g—roughly one quarter the weight of our 1.8 mm Reflective Cord. Its UHMWPE and high-tenacity polyester co-braid balances strength, low mass, visible color, and handling.

Internal tests measured over 60 lb knotted breaking strength and 90 lb straight-line. Knotted strength is the more useful field number because guyline is usually terminated with a knot, and that knot is often the limiting point. Use knots and hardware that grip 1 mm cord.
